Do Not Hurry, Do Not Rest

It’s a letter, hung slightly askew, white on one side and black on the other side. It’s hung from a thread that you can see, but which disappears quickly.

It’s recognizable as a letter. But constantly shifting into a letter that you’ve never seen before. It moves slightly in the air currents. It rotates. Sometimes it’s black, sometimes it’s white. Sometimes it’s white and black. It seems, in a very simple way, to be animated, to have personality.

You never know quite what it’s going to do next. It’s mysterious that something so mundane could feel like something that you want to keep watching.
